Disaster Relief Assistance

At Disaster locations, we often offer FREE FOOD to those in need and the volunteers assisting them

At Disaster locations, we always need help unloading the truckloads of arriving donations.

• In 2002 the egg for assisting others was laid in South Texas and in 2005 the nest was relocated to the Western Slope of Colorado. 
• Following our efforts assisting over 500 Hurricane Katrina evacuees in 2005, we received our 501 (c) (3)  in 2006 as Western Colorado Disaster Relief. 
• We changed our name in 2008 to America's Disaster Relief as we were assisting disasters all over the U.S.A. 
• 2015 we joined forces with The Missions Chapel and Disaster Relief Distribution Center as we had always been faith based from the beginning and they were more centrally located in the U.S.A., so now the main distribution center is in Norman, OK.
• No one has ever been paid a salary in our organization since 2002 - we are all volunteers - which has kept us from getting several 'grants' as they feel to be a success, there must be employees. We know that is not correct after all these years, but they have the $$$ - which makes them in charge. So we count on fundraisers, churches, business & personal donations.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort at disaster sites. Our volunteers & donors provide the momentum that helps us do good work for those in need.  Using community-driven volunteers, we take actions that make a long-lasting difference.
